This gorgeous retreat is set the heart of the Alentejo, Portugal amongst ancient olive trees, open fields, and silences filled with presence, our home A Sociedade Rural is an intimate and special retreat venue.
More than just a place to stay, it is a way of being.
Golden Season is a deep summer retreat shaped by warmth, abundance, and a slower rhythm of being. Held at the height of the season, it offers four nights to soften, open, and reconnect with body and land through yoga, rest, and shared moments in nature.
Daily practices balance summer’s fire with cooling, nourishing movement, combining fluid flows, grounding postures, and spacious stillness. Time unfolds gently, with space to swim, rest, read, and simply be, allowing afternoons to stretch without agenda.
What to expect..
- Twice daily nourishing yoga practices, both yang and yin.
- Alchmey Sound Baths, Seasonal Rituals and Ceremonies to nourish and inspire.
- Lots of opportunities to rest, swim, read, connect
- Fresh, seasonal meals from the land, prepared with care and shared.
By the end of the retreat, you’ll feel grounded, restored, and attuned to the rhythm of deep summer, carrying its ease and warmth back into your everyday life.

815am Morning Practice: journaling and an energising flow to awaken the body and set the tone for the day.
1030am Brunch
1130am Free Time: rest, walk the land, swim, connect
15h Afternoon Tea: herbal teas and infusions served with homemade cake or a light seasonal refreshment.
1630pm Seasonal ritual & Alchemy Crystal Singing bowl Sound Journey.

Casa Esteva, Casa Oliveira and Casa Rosmaninho.
Single and Double Occupancy available
All rooms come with own En Suite bathroom
